#### Agleia Odorata.
Synonym: **Agleia**** ****Odoratissima**.
An essential oil is distilled from the seeds of this tree which grows in India, Indonesia and China. Other parts of the tree are regularly used locally as a medicine.
In Java, the fragrant flowers of this tree are added to tea sold mainly on the local market. This addition can not be considered as an adulteration of the tea. It is more like an improvement which, however, is not generally appreciated by tea-drinkers in other areas of the world.
The essential oil of Agleia Odorata is not regularly produced on a commercial scale, but the botanical material is abundantly available for production in case of increased interest.
